I don't doubt that I can find anything I can think of with Google searches, but this wouldn't provide me with the specifics Mr. Macintyre has in mind. I regularly read WSJ, NYT, and WP, and all of them have reported on Alito's non-standard flag-flying. They have also reported that these displays currently signify right-of-center identification, which I take to be correct. But I don't recognize the vitriol and outrage Macintyre writes about. Maybe I'm not reading the right newspapers. On the other hand, I guess a reasonable person might at least find it questionable for a SCOTUS justice to signal his solidarity with one of the parties in an active case.
Could you please provide links to some examples of mainstream news sources spreading the sort of propaganda you describe here? That would be helpful.
